Most of the women who have started diet alongside men must have noticed that men have dropped more pounds than the women. There are few differences which will help you understand why losing weight is a gender bias phenomenon.

Men
- More muscles due to more testosterone
- Higher BMR due to more muscles
- High rate of burning calories- lose more weight at faster pace but it’s generally short term
- Fat get deposited in middles (waist) first
- More motivated for physical activity
- Do not binge more because of stronger emotional power
- Eat more Proteins
Women
- More of fat mass than muscle mass(naturally)- because of estrogen
- Slow rate of burning calories- because of low BMR results in slower weight loss process but with a long term effect
- Fat deposition varies vastly-mainly below the belt, buttocks, hips, thighs or overall
- Less motivated for physical trainings- because of more emotional stress
- Tend to binge eat
- Eat more carbohydrates
