Sweet and Sour Mango Seed Curry
Ingredients
Mango (small in size)-4-5(in number)
Cumin (jeera)- ½ tsp
Turmeric (haldi)- 1 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt-as per taste
Red chilli powder-as per taste
Oil- 1 tbsp
Water- 1 ½ cup
Method
- Separate the pulp of mangoes from the seeds and keep it aside. Do not throw away the seeds.
- Take a pan and add oil to it.
- In the hot oil add cumin seeds, turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala with continuous stirring. And add the mango pulp in it.
- Now add the remaining mango seeds in the pulp gravy and add water to it along with sugar and bring it to boil.
- Now slow down the flame and let it cook for 5-10 min.
- Serve hot with plain boiled rice or chapattie.
